Gah. Post-Holiday depression.

It gets me every time. SO depressing. It flew by so fast. I was waiting and waiting for the moment that classes let out......and whoosh! now it's pretty much over. So unfair =\ makes me want to puke in sadness. 

okay, that sounded extremely weird. I'll sign off now. o.O

1. To finish making Christmas presents for the fam.
2. Find out whether or not I'm going to be in the holiday concert tomorrow
3. Celebrate the fact that today I have no homework, which is the first time in....like....three months.
4. CLEAN UP MY ROOM BEFORE MY BROTHER'S GF STAYS IN MY ROOM
5. Pack for vacation to the Land of Palm Trees
6. Wait, wait, wait, wait for CHRISTMAS!!! YAYYYYYYYYYYY

The Catcher Goes Bye-Bye

Even though a lot of my friends hated reading The Catcher in the Rye, I read the first few lines and I liked them. Then I continued.................and gradually, started hating it.

a) There is WAY too much swearing, which totally corrupts me.
b) Way too much use of the phrase "and all," tacked on the end of sentences. A paragraph of about 150 words...........Ol' J. D. Salinger used "and all" SIX times. 150 words isn't even that much! Probably the same amount of words you have read so far on this post.


ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, I have to read 100 more pages so I have the book finished for tomorrow. That and book journals, I'd put them off.

Extreme Procrastination is heaven, until you get to Sunday night.

Well, I'm glad I got my holiday shopping out of the way. On the other hand, I still have to do a large chunk of homework from Friday, and Thursday also, bc this Friday I was out on a trip to the Phily Museum of Modern Art. Was fun. =)

Someone PLEASE help me get "If You Seek Amy" out of my head!
Which is doubly worse because a) my first name is Amy, and....

Second, there's this theory going around with the phrase "if you seek Amy", when each syllable is reduced to one letter when pronounced, it becomes:

"All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy..."

"All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to F-U-C-K-ME."

Gahhhhh!! But it seems to be true. =( =(

Comparing: Ways that I'm obsessed with Phantom. Do you match?

1. I'm working on translating the entire movie screenplay into Spanish, partly because the subtitles were horrible in some places and also just as a solo project.

2. Seen the movie AT LEAST 50 times, the first week or two after discovering it I watched it two or three times a day nonstop.

3. Someone says "the Phantom" and I automatically think Gerard Butler. Who, in my opinion, can sing once you get used to his voice.

4. I have the movie soundtrack, the original novel by Gaston Leroux, have long-term borrowed the Special-Edition DVD and have hundreds of Phantom-related pictures on my computer (the 10-min. video below this post has around 250, I'm guessing).

5. My computer wallpaper is a Phantom-Christine graphic, and the last time my Youtube channel was decorated in a non-Phantom fashion was this August.

6. The first two or three nights after seeing the movie for the first time, I dreamed about the Phantom.

Sorry, I'm just happy. So it took a couple of hours for the whole thing to get straightened out, but I finally got my 10-minute vid up. And it looks great! That was part one, currently uploading part 2 to Youtube.

Grrr! This really annoys me. Either I can't upload it correctly, or it's taking a really long time. Either way, I really want to get this vid up on Youtube! Now!

that and procrastination really isn't a great combination. UNFORTUNATELY.........I have major problems with them both, esp. procrastination.

I have, no joke, a serious radio in my head. Always playing one song or another. Sometimes I wish my mind would just SHUT UP.......not likely! Well, back to schoolwork......

Hey, everyone! If you're reading this, you probably came here from Youtube. My username is liveforlife2494, and on my channel I go all out with my little Phantom of the Opera obsession.

Okay, so a little about myself..........

• My dream (at the moment, it changes) is to become a professional artist.
  
• I love music A LOT. I listen to everything but country, rap, some pop and some hardcore metal.
• My favorite musicals are The Phantom of the Opera (no surprise there), Rent, Hairspray, The Sound of Music and Annie Get Your Gun.
• I love singing and, hope I'm not bragging, I have a pretty big range. I have yet to actually post covers of songs.
• Despite your thoughts, I'm actually Asian (*GASP*). I break the Asian stereotypes in lots of ways, and with pride. So back off. =)
