The Catcher Goes Bye-Bye

Even though a lot of my friends hated reading The Catcher in the Rye, I read the first few lines and I liked them. Then I continued.................and gradually, started hating it.

a) There is WAY too much swearing, which totally corrupts me.
b) Way too much use of the phrase "and all," tacked on the end of sentences. A paragraph of about 150 words...........Ol' J. D. Salinger used "and all" SIX times. 150 words isn't even that much! Probably the same amount of words you have read so far on this post.


ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, I have to read 100 more pages so I have the book finished for tomorrow. That and book journals, I'd put them off.
